Strong Minds Strong Kids, Psychology Canada, joins forces with GreenShield
A new partnership with GreenShield expands access to ‘Make the Connection,’ an evidence-informed attachment program helping parents and caregivers build secure bonds with infants in the first years of life.
Strong Minds Strong Kids, Psychology Canada (SMSKPC) has partnered with GreenShield to improve parents’ mental health and strengthen infant-caregiver bonds through the ‘Make the Connection’ (MTC) program. MTC translates attachment science into practical activities that promote secure attachment, communication, and early brain development. The program is available online for parents and caregivers who need flexible access, with a facilitator-led option for professionals. The partnership supports equity-seeking communities by expanding reach and reducing barriers to care. GreenShield Cares has invested significantly in mental health initiatives and will help bring MTC to more families across Canada. Parents can learn more and access the program at makingtheconnectionmatters.com using access code MTCGS. See the embedded press release for full details and contacts.
